I’ll admit, I had to google “French actress” before I was able to find Ms. Audrey Tautou for Madame Lefoux. But, keeping the characters culturally accurate is important to me, and she worked magnificently. She has a small build, is fluent in English and her native French, and can pull off short hair. My only issue is that she has brown eyes instead of green.
As far as a thin blonde French maid was concerned, I couldn’t think of anyone but Clemence Poesy as Angelique. My only issue with her is that she might be a bit young as far as having history with Madame Lefoux.

I think the choices were quite good actually. It may not be the best, but CGI saves the day on most occasions if you have good graphic artists. 
Sometimes it's even better than traditional means, such as lenses, would be.
As a costume student, I like the choices because they seem quite fitting when it comes to the descriptions in the books. Ms Poesy looks sweet and young enough to go for drone but also old enough to have a son.
